American Geothermal, Inc. Company
History
Our customers save money through energy
efficiency.

American Geothermal, Inc. was founded in 1981 to provide
unique, patented, state-of-the-art geothermal heat pump
heating and cooling systems for commercial and industrial
process water heating and/or cooling applications. Since
1981, we have developed additional designs including
aggregate heating systems for the ready mix concrete
industry, super high efficiency chillers for batch water
cooling, special application boilers, industrial heat
recovery systems and special temperature control equipment.
Our business philosophy is based on providing energy
efficient and
cost efficient solutions to meet our customers' specific
requirements, often at a fraction of the cost of
conventional methodologies.
Our special concrete batch water temperature control systems have been used for
a number of major projects, including:
- The Senate Office Building tunnel in
Washington, DC
- Nissan Motor Manufacturing Corporation's
plant in Smyrna, TN
- Saturn Corporation's plant in Spring Hill,
TN
- The Dios Rios Water Project in San
Antonio, TX
- The Hanford Nuclear Plant in Hanford, WA
- Central Artery Project Borton, MA (Big
Dig)
- Olmsted Lock Approach Walls Olmsted, IL
- And at hundreds of other locations across the
United States and around the world.
Commercial and industrial processes such as plastic
injection molding, food processing, bakery processes, chemical
manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, government specification
concrete and other processes often require temperature control of millions
of gallons of water. Many of these processes require hot and cold water
simultaneously. American Geothermal's geothermal heat pumps are the most
cost effective way to supply hot and cold water at the same time.
Our years of proven performance, experienced
management team, geothermal design, manufacturing expertise and financial
stability are assured assets for your next project.
